This 24x24 collage incorporates magazine paper, book illustrations, newspaper, rice paper, and handwritten lined paper. Created as a commission for a lifetime book lover and former bookshop owner, she wanted to capture the feeling of falling into new worlds. The handwritten paper looks like a manuscript draft and shows that the reader is drifting into the author’s world. It’s meant to be displayed as a diamond.
